American Illustration 43 Award

This year I have had the honor of receiving the American Illustration 43 Award (New York) for my artwork Art for Health. The illustration was one of the works selected among 8,000 submissions, chosen by a jury composed of art directors from GQ, Entertainment Weekly, Los Angeles Times, Workman Publishing / Hachette Book Group, WIRED, The New York Times Sunday Business, The New Yorker, Disney+Hyperion, among others.

Digital illustration, animation, and augmented reality

This work seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer through digital illustration, animation, and augmented reality, paying tribute to all women, patients, families, medical specialists, and healthcare professionals.

A project based on the fusion between creativity and new technologies to promote health communication, encourage healthy habits and prevention and early diagnosis measures, demystify, serve as a platform for quality information, and share a hopeful vision through the potential of art and new technologies.
